The Galloway and Southern Ayrshire Biosphere Partnership is developing a community-led tourism project as part of the Solway Coast and Marine Project (SCAMP Landscape Connections) in Dumfries and Galloway. We are looking at opportunities for new or existing leisure and wellbeing activities around the coastline of D&G that can be developed to benefit local communities.
Snorkelling is an opportunity to explore life underwater and learn more about important marine habitats such as seagrass and oyster beds, while enjoying a gentle Blue Health activity. This Snorkelling Taster Day is aimed at beginners; all equipment is provided and the experience is fully guided. You will learn essential snorkelling skills while exploring the underwater world of Loch Ryan.
