Coasteering is a truly adventurous way to explore, journey and enjoy sections of the Ayrshire coastline. Our qualified and experienced instructors will guide you safely as we journey to different parts of the shore both in and out of the sea within the inter-tidal zone.

Coasteering involves a mixture of easy scrambling around rock pools, leaping into the sea from a variety of heights, journeying to hidden coves to explore sea caves and traversing ledges where occasionally, even come face to face with a seal. Along the way, groups will learn about marine wildlife most commonly found around the firth of clyde.

Coasteering adventures work with the tides so these vary in start times in rhythm with mother nature. We have on offer high water sessions and low water sessions. High water sessions are aimed specifically at those who want to do lots of jumping and swimming. Low water sessions are more for those who want to scramble and explore caves with a little bit of jumping, which is optional. Get in touch today to book your place.

When you’re by the sea do you ever get the feeling you just want to run and jump in? We do all the time. In fact we do it for fun!

Coasteering is the perfect way to explore and enjoy the Scottish coastline. Come and join us as we follow different parts of the shore both in and out of the sea, we jump from cliffs into sea below, we climb rocks to get into hidden coves, explore the depths of sea caves, traverse ledges and occasionally even come face to face with a seal.

Our guides are all trained and experienced and armed with their knowledge of the area, the tides and the best things to look for. We also accommodate younger age groups with extreme rockpooling which involves some coasteering and finding out what the tide has left behind. Something of a wildlife adventure trail in the sea!

Please be aware that if a child under the age of 16 years is booked onto the session a responsible adult will need to be on the shore/harbour for duration of the session. This is not the case if the responsible adult is booked onto to the session with the child.
