Our bike adventures are a fantastic way to journey in the Galloway and Southern Ayrshire Biosphere and explore deep around the Galloway Forest Park. As part of Scotland’s UNESCO Trail and at the heart of the Galloway International Dark Sky Park, there is no better way to connect with this wonderful place.
No-one can deny the thrill of biking. Whether it’s racing down a mountain track, dodging through woodland trees, splashing through muddy puddles or just taking it easy and enjoying being outdoors and taking in the scenery, we can cater to your every pleasure.
We use qualified and experienced instructors to run enjoyable sessions for beginners or for those wishing to learn some new skills and push themselves. We also cater for more advanced and track hardened cyclists with years of experience. We can choose the appropriate routes to suit the groups or individuals needs, using either the purple,green, blue or the red routes on the chosen trail. or if you are looking for something more bespoke we can certainly come up with something new for you.
We offer bespoke overnight itineraries which are suitable for all abilities. We can tailor the expedition to the needs of the group and offer the options of wild camping or spending the night experiencing living in a typical Scottish bothy house.
Trip available from February to November.
Our qualified and experienced mountain bike leaders will support each day of the trip by transporting bikes to the venue and providing instruction, trail side repair cover and guiding to enable parties to gain confidence in riding across mixed terrain. Our team will also be on hand to choose a suitable location to set up a wild camp or bothy and cook a meal.
If electric biking is something you want to consider we have the option to develop a trip around this. please just let us know what you wish.
Adventure Carrick will provide all equipment, food and instruction.
The cost is £325 per person and this is based on a minimum of 4 people booking. Please contact us for a bespoke price for a smaller group.
If you wish to consider your carbon footprint there are great public transport links to Girvan. At Adventure Carrick we are working towards are Net Zero goals. So we would be more than happy to meet you at the train or bus station in Girvan. Girvan is a great place to stay for extended trips with a lot to offer.
