Coasteering for Teenagers

As part of our Summer of Adventure series, we hope you can join our experienced instructors for a thrilling day out exploring South Ayrshire’s coastline.
Aimed at 13yrs +
Calling all Teenz! Add some adventure to your summer holidays by joining us for a days Coasteering.
Coasteering is an action-packed journey based activity which involves participants exploring the unique coastal features along the inter tidal zone, near Ballantrae, South Ayrshire.
Our experienced Instructors will show participants how to jump safely into the water from various heights in addition to leading them on a journey which will include swimming in coves and caves and scrambling on rock.
Coasteering is a truly memorable day out and fun for all abilities.
Price includes pick up/drop off from Burns museum, Alloway, The CARRICK CENTRE, Maybole and The QUAY ZONE, Girvan.

Group Size Large Group
Session begin at the ACE base in Girvan where all participants will be required to complete a medical form.
Participants will be issued kit and changing areas provided.
After the initial briefing, the group shall proceed by mini bus to the venue and finalise their kit check before walking a short path onto the coastline where the session will commence.
Activity includes rock scrambling, swimming, jumping into the sea from various heights, exploring caves, coves and coastal features.
After the session, participants will change at the mini bus using modesty capes.
Challenge by choice is the mantra.
