Whether you call it gorge walking, gorge scrambling, ghyll scrambling it all means one thing. A fantastic day out getting wet!

For anyone that hasn’t done it yet, gorge walking is a must. It involves walking in the river, sliding down waterslides cut into the rocks, jumping off high rocks into clear pools, and scrambling over rocks and other obstacles.

A Gorge walk can be anything from 2 to 10km and its exhilaratingly good fun, and a brilliant group activity.

Adventure Carrick are one of the most popular activity centres in Scotland for gorge walking and we can provide you with your wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet and any other gear you will need. Our qualified instructors will be there to help you and show you everything you need to know.
